Dick Summer Connection

Another crazy week. Thankfully, it’s Friday, so it’s time for Dick’s Details from today’s podcast. Dick’s Details is a bunch of totally unimportant stuff for you to stuff into one ear, so you can squeeze the important stuff that’s making you crazy out the other ear, and you can grab a grin and win. The zoo guys tell us that it’s not unusual for porcupines to fall out of trees. I guess that’s because porcupines are modest. They’re not stuck up. If they were stuck up they wouldn’t fall out of trees…right?  If the answer is “Because they forgot the words” what is the question. Don’t know do you. I’ll tell you in a minute. Astronomers are giving us a winter weather warning. They’re saying, “don’t slip on the ice and fall on your fanny.” Actually what they’re really doing, is looking through their telescopes and telling us that winter lasts 21 years on Uranus…so that’s why I think you should be careful you don’t fall on your fanny and hurt Uranus. Cats like to groom themselves by licking their various parts. Most cats clean their mouths and faces first, then their front legs and midsection. They usually clean their hindquarters and tail last. Makes lots of sense. That’s how I’d do it. If the answer is “Because they forgot the words” the question is “Why do bumble bees hum?” Because they forgot the words. That information was the result of a highly sophisticated scientific sting operation. Dick’s Details. They take your mind off your mind. A little housekeeping here…if you like these podcasts, or my spoken word CDs at dicksummer.com, or my book Staying Happy Healthy And Hot, please tell a couple of friends will you? They might like them too, and you’ll be doing me a favor. Thank you very much.
