If you’ve ever had to deal with the medical establishment, you’ll want to see “Co-Pay.”

CoPay (produced by Brad Smyser and Kathy Berge, written and directed by Paul Berge) is now on the air at:

CoPay took “Best Iowa Short Film” at the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival and “Award of Excellence” at Iowa Motion Picture Association (IMPA).
Paul Berge is a flying buddy of mine, who wrote the introduction to my book Staying Happy Healthy And Hot.  He’s also a big time magazine writer and editor. Paul has the kind of dry sense of humor that you really need, when all you have left is your sence of humor. Like when you’re stuck in the hospital. Do yourself a favor, and give this a shot…as the nurses always say.

I finally got around to watching “Co Pay” and boy, that is a lot closer to the truth than most in the health care industry would care to admit. Sure, it’s taking it from the sublime to the almost ridiculous — but,.point well made!

As a former clinic and ER administrator…..I really appreciated that.
