    Dick,

    A great collection and extremely timely. “growing up” has always been one of my favorites (next to the moose hunters).

    Seems like an eternity since the last time we hung out.

    Dick,
    I thank you for your download and it’s great reading. The Raiders are true heroes. I read the book Thirty Seconds over Tokyo.They did what had to be done, at the time. We have heroes today, Marine Corp. Force Recon, Navy Seals, Army Rangers and the Air Force Special Operations. They all do what had to be done and that has to be remembered.

    Dick, I never meant to be little what the Doolittle Raiders. What they did was more than heroic, it was what the nation needed after Pearl Harbor and it gave Japan a reality check. I do hope this finds you in feeling fine. Again I’m sorry for the way my response sounded.
