Dick Summer Connection

Lots of big and little things to be grateful for. Living in the most beautiful country on earth. Enjoying a big juicy hamburger with cross hatches fresh from the cookout grill, with some friends on a Forth of July weekend. Seeing a little kid imitate his father. , Today’s podcast says,”Pay attention to the big things and the little things that put life in your life.”

a voice from the past!! I know I’ve not been good at keep you up to date on what is going on, but I’m going to take a minute out to update you… get ready!!! My fibromyalgia has been out of control since around Christmas time and I have finally found a doctor who is very familiar with fibro, (one of only 2 in the area) and we are now working on getting it under control. The grand kids have all been good… as far as kids go!! I had a wonderful man in my life who suddenly this past Friday failed to wake up in the morning. They think he might have had a heart attack in his sleep, but they won’t know until the autopsy is complete. I’ve never had someone I love die so suddenly like this before in my life and I am finding it hard to come to grips with it. There was no warning, no signs that this might happen.. in fact the day before he went to the doctor and was told all that was wrong with him was a summer cold, he was the picture of health. And of course this stress has caused my fibor to flare, for me to have the second in 2 weeks of a panic attack that ended me up in the ER (oh yeah.. and I have sleep apnea which is what set off the first panic attack because I’m also claustrophobic). I’m working on keeping it all together… right now just some duct tape and glue, but I know I’ll get thru this eventually and will stop having panic attacks and hopefully not end up in the ER again for a very long time! Thanks for being there! Oh yeah!!! Saw a Binder & Binder ad on TV…. the first time in a very long time.. but I knew that voice!!!
